IMPORTANT - DEPARTMENT CLOSURES 

The Department will be closed on the following dates in 2026:

  • Friday, 3 April

  • Monday, 1 June

  • From Monday, 10 August to Friday, 14 August, and from Monday, 17 August to Friday, 21 August

  • Monday, 7 December

  • Thursday, 24 December

  • From Monday, 28 December to Thursday, 31 December

In 2027, the Department will be closed:

- From Monday, 4 January to Tuesday, 5 January

For any extraordinary access, prior authorization must be requested by 12:00 PM on the last working day before the planned access by emailing fabit.sicurezza@unibo.it. The email must include:

  • The names of the individuals who will access the premises (a minimum of 2 people must be present at the same time);
  • The Department location and the office/laboratory for which access is requested;
  • The date(s) and at least an approximate time.

If the request is made by non-permanent staff, the supervisor must be CC’d in the email.

Prior authorization must be requested by emailing fabit.sicurezza@unibo.it, also by using the form attached at the bottom of the page.

  • Educational laboratories

    The FaBiT Degree Courses allow students to carry out individual laboratory practice

  • Health and safety

    Information on risks, correct behaviour and emergency management in the main places of study, work and research of the Department and of the University.
